Meet Luke Morrissey, EDS, LPC

I’ve spent the past 15+ years working with children, teens, and families—and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: most kids aren’t trying to be difficult. They’re trying to communicate something they don’t yet know how to express.

My role is to help both you and your child understand what’s underneath the behavior—so you can respond in a way that actually works.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), with experience in both school and clinical settings. That combination gives me a unique understanding of how children function—not just emotionally, but in the real-world environments they navigate every day.

What this means for your family

I’m also a parent—which means I understand how overwhelming and confusing it can feel when your child is struggling and you’re not sure what to do next.

I work closely with families to strengthen relationships at home—helping parents feel more confident, more connected, and better equipped to support their child.

My approach goes beyond short-term behavior fixes. Together, we focus on building trust, improving communication, and creating a steadier, more supportive environment for your family.

The goal is simple: to help your child feel understood and capable—and to help your family move forward with greater clarity, connection, and confidence.

Outside of the Office

Outside of counseling, Luke values growth, connection, and staying grounded in everyday life.

He enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, traveling, and going to concerts—anything that allows him to stay present, curious, and connected.

That same mindset carries into his work, where he approaches each family with attentiveness, care, and a genuine investment in their growth.
